I do not. Like. Roll. It's not that she's annoying or ugly...its just...she is painfully stereotypical and does NOTHING beneficial. Just...sits there going "oh my goodness my brother is out battling, I MUST CLEAN SOMETHING!" bleh. Atleast she has a better role now. lol role...roll...lulz.
I tend to agree on that subject(is the reason why I have her get a character upgrades in the fan fiction!) And neat trivia, did you know originally made Megaman 2 was originally going to have roll as a co-op player, but the idea was scratched by Capcom, due to the growing boy gamers possibly not seeking the idea of playing a girl in video games. (Look like Nintendo disagree)
Lawl, she looks fancy. Too bad she had to be stereotypical in the games... I think if she was given the chance and such, she could really kick some robot butt.

It doesn't help that some of the art in R20 seems to be implying that Roll is a romantic interest for Rock. o___o Of course, that could just be me misinterpreting it, but... she seems to get very angry when other women give him attention, or he gives them attention.

<__< I'd totally rape her then throw her into a trash compactor. I prefer Roll Casket. At least Trigger gets to see her naked, and she wants to bang him secretly. <_<
The classic series seemed almost like a trial-and-error shoot for Capcom in terms of the Megaman franchise. I mean, Megaman was like the only major character to be seen throughout the game; sure you'd get Eddie sometimes, and Protoman in MM3, and Wily at the endgame; but the series always seemed so one dimensional from my point of view- not much seemed to be built up around many of the characters true backstories; and a newcomer to the series would have to play through the previous games to try and get some sort of ongoing story.
Oddly enough, the Exe series seemed to improve on the original concept of the Classic one, with the normal changes of course to characters and story- but it seemed to make the overall effect a bit more rounded and in-depth. The original bosses have more character and personality in Exe than thier Classic counterparts. I wonder sometimes how the whole Megaman series would have been developed differently had the Exe version of character development been introduced- along with character designs. Of course, the Roll in the Exe series could do without the metal plate of hair or the creepy bunny-tail... thing she has.
And maybe have her fill out that skin-tight suit of hers more...
And maybe make the overall series a bit more mature...
and... possibly introduce Zero exe earlier...
and hopefully allow for more romance to be involved...
Meh.
At least we go to see tuxedo cleavage.
